Are you a landlord? If so, it’s risky if you don’t know the rules.

The property owner’s market is one that is ever-changing in the forward-thinking nation that is New Zealand. As such, the country’s landlords are constantly faced with new and improved rules and obligations in order to keep their properties compliant to the highest standard.

This is where Ray White’s annual Rent Event is the ideal opportunity for landlords to educate themselves on upcoming changes in legislation and tenancy agreements. Not-to-mention, learn a few additional tips on how to secure the best return-on-investment with regards to property ownership.

Landlords and property owners alike will also have the chance to pitch their questions to our panel of expert guest speakers, which includes:

  • Brian Greer, Loan Market CEO, who will speak about loan structures and how to maximize the ROI of your property
  • Nick Goodall, CoreLogic Head of Research, who will deliver his detailed insights on the long-term property market landscape in Auckland, as well as investment rates, rent rates, and yields
  • Aaron Haabjoern, Damerell Group Property Management CEO, who will cover the Healthy Home Legislation Act in detail, outline timeframes and necessary compliance requirements, as well as any other important questions
  • Belinda Henson, Director of Sales, who will discuss the state of the real estate market in New Zealand, as well as the current sales market in relation to downsizing or upsizing your portfolio

Our annual Rent Event also offers landlords the opportunity to meet and liaise with our preferred suppliers, and learn more about the myriad of services they offer in order to keep your property in tip-top shape. This includes the likes of: Mr Walker, DVS, Loan Market, and TradeMe Property.
