Now that the summer (or lack of summer) holidays are over, long weekends have concluded and school is back – the property market is back in full force. As Mt Albert and surrounding suburbs are very school holiday driven, we waited until this past week to launch our latest listings to captivate the full attention of the market. We can confirm open home numbers have increased since December 2022 and activity is good. We have had a number of buyers wanting to put “pen to paper” so to speak, and we have noticed more buyers in a cash position to purchase. Mortgage brokers have also noticed an increase in loan applications, and there is even talk of interest rates dropping and unadvertised special deals. It’s only been one week of genuine Real Estate marketing but it is definitely positive.
